一、前言 ASME锅炉及压力容器规范中经常出现焊接接头术语剖口(groove)与坡口(bevel)二个词。这二词在很多译文中随意应用。而实际上剖口与坡口是有区别的。现就此二词的基本概念作如下评述: 二、剖口与坡口的定义 在ASME锅炉及压力容器规范中剖口与坡口的定义如下: Groove —— An opening or channel in the surface of a part or between two components which provides space to contain a weld. 三、译文举例 3.1 Weld joint terminology 焊接接头术语 【原文】1. Root opening---The separation between the members to be joined at the root of the joint. 【原文】2. Root face(land)---The unbeveled portion of the groove face. 【原文】3. Bevel---The beveled surface of a member included in the groove. 【原文】4.Bevel angle---The angle formed between the prepared edge and a plane perpendicular to the surface. 【原文】5.Groove angle---The total included angle of the groove between parts to be joined. 【原文】6.Counter bore---Boring of pipe inside diameter to correct for out of roundness resulting during manufacturing. 【原文】7.Groove radius---The radius used to form the shape of a J- or U-groove weld joint 【原文】8.
