The Delegation of visiting USA for Market and Technology was on a brief visit to USA on Nov. 2006. 18 members of the delegation have visited ASME headquarters and some transnational corporations such as FOSTER WHEELER and KBR.they held talks with ASME fraternity include Mr. J.R.SMIS (Sr. Vice President, Codes and Standards) ,Ms.JUNE LING (Associate Executive Director, Codes and Standards ), Mr. MARK.SHIEN (Executive Director, Business Development ), Mr. DAVID A. WIZDA (Managing Director, Conformity Assessment), Mr. ALAN BAGNER (Director, Accreditation and Certification), Mr.G.M. EISENBERG (Director, Pressure Technology) etc.

The Chinese Translated Version of 2005 Addenda for ASME Codes are begun to send to subscribers now.

The Chinese Translated Version of 2005 Addenda for ASME Code have been translated and will be sent to subscriber before the end of this month by e_mail.

Untill 31th Dec. 2005, there are 156 units of ASME certification holders in China.

CONGRATULATIONS!! The 4th CACI General Assemblyhas holden on Dec. 5~8, 2006. The 4th CACI Directorate which was composed of 41CACI members has been elected. Mr. Zhao Zhiming (Executive Vice President of CPEIA) was elected the President , Mr. Xu Yuzhong was elected Executive Vice President and Mr. Yang Shuangquan was elected Executive Vice General.

CONGRATULATIONS!! Shanghai Boiler Works Ltd. (SBWL) become the first manufacture of China for ASME nuclear product standard (N, NPT, NS) certificate of authority and stamp qualification recently.

CONGRATULATIONS!! The 6th Board of Directors of China Petroleum & Petro-chemical Equipment Industry Associate (CPEIA) has been holden in Beijing, June 28, 2006.The new president of board of directors is WANG Jiming, former president of SINOPEC Ltd., Co. and academician of China Engineering Academy
